Community Charity Programmes in Milton Keynes
Explore a wide array of community charity programmes at Jo's Hope, including musical theatre clubs and yoga classes. Primarily, our charity works to raise funds for post-surgery bras for breast cancer patients, which we achieve through a variety of events and programmes. However, supporting the local community in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, is also in our remit and we strive to break cycles and inspire youths. Get in touch today to find out more.

Musical Theatre Club
Open to anyone from 9 to 18 years old, our Musical Theatre Club includes a mix of singing, dancing, and acting for young people. We understand that after-school activities and clubs can be costly for some families, and as such, we offer these sessions FREE of charge.
This is a great opportunity for children to come and hang out, make new friends, and either learn new skills or develop their existing talents. Classes run every Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lakes Estate Community Centre in Bletchley. We also operate an array of weekend workshops, fundraising opportunities, and mini-events for the kids to enjoy, building to an end-of-year Showcase event.
Please note that spaces are limited at present. If we can get the funding for equipment to use at the performances, we hope this project will grow year-on-year and we might eventually run sessions two or three days a week.
Our goal with the Musical Theatre Club is to build youths’ confidence and self-esteem and hopefully inspire them to share what they’ve learned with others and become active citizens in our community. Please get in touch for further details.

Messy Play
Messy creative play is not just about fun—it's a vital tool for learning, self-expression, and emotional regulation, especially for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those educated at home. It offers a sensory-rich experience that can support the development of fine motor skills, language, and cognitive processing in a safe, pressure-free environment. For many SEN children, traditional learning methods may be inaccessible or overwhelming. Messy play allows them to explore textures, colours, and concepts in a way that suits their individual learning styles, helping build confidence and reduce anxiety.

Chess Club
Chess Club is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people who share your passion for chess and engage in friendly competition. So, dust off your chessboard, sharpen your strategies, and get ready to make your move!
